Terms of Service
This is placeholder text, not a lawyer-reviewed Terms of Service. It exists so this link goes somewhere honest instead of a 404 page. Before this product handles real customer data at scale, this page needs to be replaced with real legal terms covering acceptable use, liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.
What Janus is
Janus is a customer-relationship and job-management tool for trades businesses — contacts, deals, jobs, appointments, and the leads that feed them. Signing up creates an account for your business; every person you add works under that same account.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials to yourself and for what happens under your account. If you think an account has been compromised, change the password immediately and contact support.
Your data
Everything you enter — contacts, deals, jobs, photos, and the rest — belongs to your business, not to Janus. You can export a full copy at any time from Settings, and closing an account doesn't forfeit that right.
Billing
Paid plans are governed by the separate billing policy, which covers trial length, pricing, and what happens if a payment fails.
Changes
This is a placeholder document and will change before it means anything binding. When real terms replace it, they'll be dated and announced, not swapped in silently.
