My plan includes 200 system texts per month (including customer notifications and internal team alerts). Extra texts cost $0.04 each. AI phone answering, if I use it, is billed at the voice provider's wholesale cost for each call plus a 14% markup, rounded up to the nearest whole minute, and never more than $0.30 a minute. Once Janus buys a phone number for me, my phone line costs $3.99 a month, from the month after. On a promo free trial there is no text allowance, so all texts are charged at the rate above, and submitting my texting registration costs $22.23 once (Janus pays it once my first payment is confirmed). This metered usage is post-paid: once my plan is active, or from the start of a promo free trial, it is charged automatically to my card on file whenever it adds up to my account's usage limit — $25 to begin with, rising to no more than $250 — and on the 1st of each month for anything still owed. These charges are separate from my plan's quarterly payment. Texting and AI phone answering open when my first payment is confirmed, or at once on a promo free trial. I can see my usage, and set a lower limit of my own, anytime in Settings → Billing. (read the full terms)
