Privacy Policy
This is placeholder text, not a lawyer-reviewed Privacy Policy. It exists so this link goes somewhere honest instead of a 404 page. Before this product handles real customer data at scale, this needs to be replaced with a real privacy policy — and likely a data processing agreement for clients who ask for one.
What we collect
Account information (name, email, phone) for everyone who logs in; the contacts, deals, jobs, appointments, and photos your business enters; and basic usage/attribution data (which page a visitor landed on, UTM parameters) for the public intake forms your business runs.
What we don't do
We never see or store payment card numbers — card entry happens on Stripe's own hosted pages, and Janus only holds a reference id and the card's last four digits. We don't sell any data to third parties.
Who can see your data
Only the people you've added to your own account, plus Janus support staff when needed to help with an issue you've raised. A different business using Janus can never see your contacts, deals, or jobs.
Your data, your control
Export a full copy of everything on your account at any time from Settings. Closing an account doesn't forfeit that right, and we don't hold data hostage.
Changes
This is a placeholder document and will change before it means anything binding. When a real policy replaces it, it'll be dated and announced, not swapped in silently.
